Job Description
- Design, develop, and iteratively deliver back-end systems for trading and clearing, ensuring stability and reliability of core business workflows.
- Participate in the development and refactoring of core business modules, continuously improving system scalability, maintainability, and overall engineering quality.
- Drive system performance optimisation and governance, including concurrency handling, threading models, memory/GC management, database access, and SQL optimisation, to meet low-latency and high-throughput requirements.
- Participate in production environment operational support, including release/rollback management, configuration and change management, capacity planning, incident response, and post-mortem reviews (RCA), driving continuous stability improvements.
- Perform deployment, troubleshooting, and operational automation on Linux-based environments; develop and maintain scripts and scheduled tasks to enhance delivery and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of monitoring, alerting, and logging systems, refining key metrics and alerting policies to improve issue detection, diagnosis, and recovery efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, runbooks, and contingency plans, promoting the adoption of best practices.
