Java Developer
Summary
Develops and maintains Java-based enterprise applications using Spring, Kafka, and big data tools like Hadoop, with a focus on scalable, distributed systems in Singapore.
· A bachelor's or technical degree in Computer Science, IS, or IT is preferred
· AtAt least 4-7 years of relevant working experience in Java/J2EE development
· Good to have experience in big data technology development like Hadoop platform.
· Good understanding & working knowledge with Agile/Scrum
· Hands-on experience of end-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems
Must have experience in the following:
· Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring-Boot, RESTFUL Webservices.
· Strong knowledge in Core Java (Java 8+).
· Experience in the Kafka messaging system.
· BigData frameworks like Storm, Hadoop, Hdfs, Hbase, Ignite.
· SQL & No-SQL database like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Hbase, MongoDB.
· Knowledge of Flink, Redis, s3, MongoDB is an advantage.
· Tools– Maven, GIT CICD, Cucumber, Kibana.
· Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker & Kubernetes.
· Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, and performance benchmarking.
· TDDdriven development mindset with strong skills in Junit, Mockito and other unit testing frameworks.
· Knowledgeon DevOps Practices.
