Full-stack Java developer building and enhancing a recovery platform for German banks and government entities, using Java JEE, Spring, SQL, and XML.

We are looking for a skilled Java JEE / Full-Stack Developer with German language proficiency to join our team on a project supporting major German banks and government entities. Your expertise will contribute to technical enhancements and updates on a platform supporting recovery processes.

This is an opportunity to work closely with a German-speaking team and deliver impactful solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your Daily Missions

  • Integrating with a German-speaking development team and actively participating in technical discussions.

  • Extending and adapting the technical framework of the recovery platform.

  • Analyzing existing functionalities and implementing enhancements for the recovery module.

  • Writing and maintaining clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code.

  • Designing and optimizing database structures using SQL.

  • Handling XML data and ensuring seamless integration with the platform.

  • Contributing to both backend and frontend development as part of a full-stack role.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

The Essentials We’re Seeking

  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial experience in Java development.

  • Strong experience with Java JEE and Spring.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and XML.

  • Previous experience with frontend development; specific frontend technology is not required, as training on the client's Generator technology will be provided.

  • German language proficiency at B2 level or higher, with the ability to follow technical conversations and customer communications.

  • Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).

  • Fluency in Polish (minimum B2 level).

  • Experience working on technical frameworks or platforms.

  • Experience working in a SCRUM-based methodology.

  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to understanding and solving functional challenges.

  • Team player attitude with excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.

  • Experience in collections or garnishment processes is a plus.
