Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong backend development skills and practical experience in Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building scalable, high-performance applications, working with modern frameworks, and collaborating in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Kotlin
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical solutioning
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external services
• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and application issues
• Perform code reviews and support continuous improvement in engineering practices
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Core Java
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin
• Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Git, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization
