Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Create, configure, manage, and optimize workflows using Orkes Conductor or Netflix Conductor.
- Build reliable workflow orchestration logic to automate business processes across multiple backend services.
- Integrate Java services with RESTful APIs, external systems, message queues, and third‑party services.
- Work with DevOps, QA, SRE, product, and engineering teams to deliver stable and scalable backend solutions.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and system‑level tests to improve code quality and deployment confidence.
- Monitor backend services, workflow executions, logs, alerts, and dashboards to maintain system health.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, service errors, API issues, queue delays, and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide L2 and L3 support for Java microservices, Conductor workflows, and production incidents.
- Investigate root causes of technical issues and deliver practical fixes, workarounds, or long‑term improvements.
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams on deployment, scaling, release management, and operational readiness.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Assist development teams in integrating, testing, and operating Conductor workflows within backend applications.
- Participate in on‑call rotations to support high availability, quick incident response, and service reliability.
- Maintain clean technical documentation for workflows, service integrations, support procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Strong professional experience in Java development, preferably using Java8 or higher.
- Hands‑on experience with Orkes Conductor or Netflix Conductor for workflow orchestration.
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot, REST APIs, backend service design, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or related DevOps platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and modern application delivery practices.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools used to track system performance and reliability.
- Ability to debug distributed systems, investigate production issues, and resolve workflow or service failures.
- Strong analytical skills with a practical approach to root‑cause analysis and incident handling.
- Comfortable working with DevOps, QA, SRE, product teams, and application developers in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills for production support, technical discussions, and cross‑team delivery.
- A reliability‑focused mindset with awareness of uptime, scalability, performance, and operational stability.
