Our client is a leading consultancy supporting a public sector project, and we are looking for a Java Engineer to join them. This will be a 12-month contract.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java software engineering with end-to-end application development and delivery.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, JUnit, EJB and Spring Boot for enterprise application development.
- Solid foundation in computer science principles including algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design.
- Proven experience with relational databases, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP web services, Java messaging technologies (JMS/MQ), and Spring core concepts.
- Experience working in Agile environments with strong testing practices, including TDD and acceptance test development
