Java Engineer, FIX

My client, a leading financial technology organization, is currently scaling its engineering team to enhance its sophisticated transaction-processing network. They provide a critical infrastructure platform for wealth and Investmentmanagement firms and are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineerto join their high-performance backend development team.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement robust, scalable software solutions aligned with organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams to define and deliver innovative new features.
• Operate within an agile, DevOps-focused environment, taking ownership of the full development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless software deployments and system stability.
• Proactively monitor system health to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

The experience and skills needed

• 6+ years of professional experience in Java Spring Boot forenterprise application development
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in event-driven systems and message queues, specifically Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Working knowledge of the FIX protocol and RESTful service design (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
