Java/Full Stack Analyst

Summary

Owns Java-based enterprise application development, modernizing legacy systems to cloud-ready microservices while bridging business and technical teams.

Job:

• A hands-on System Analyst with strong Java backend and web app experience to own requirements, design, and delivery of enterprise applications for our onshore clients.

• Bridge the gap between business users and technical teams, and help modernize legacy systems to cloud-ready, microservices-based solutions.

Role:

• Requirements & Analysis: Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional specs and application designs.

• Design & Development: Lead system design including database design, API design, and application architecture for Java web-based applications.

• Delivery: Develop, test, implement, and maintain applications following SDLC and Agile practices.

• Stakeholder Management: Work independently with business users and vendors. Present solutions and manage expectations.

• Quality & Support: Perform QA, UAT support, and provide L2/L3 application support post-go-live.

Requirements:

• Over 5+ years in System Analysis, Design, Java Development, and Implementation

• Java Backend: Strong in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate

• Frontend: Experience with Angular / AngularJS or similar modern UI frameworks. HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Database: Relational DB design and SQL. Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or DB2

• APIs: Design and consume REST and SOAP web services

• Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Eclipse/IntelliJ/VSCode. Unit testing with JUnit, Cypress/Playwright/Jasmine is a plus.

• Architecture: Understanding of Microservices, SOA, Event-driven architecture, Responsive Web Design

• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and manage vendors.

Good to Have:

• Cloud: Hands-on with AWS services

• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD basics

• Other: Python, Linux/Unix, Mainframe, Service Component Architecture

• Domain: Prior experience on Core Banking / Core2 projects

• Methodology: Object-Oriented Analysis & Design, Agile.

• Certifications: AWS, Java, or equivalent

• Experience with Web Servers: Apache, IIS
