Java Full Stack Cloud Developer

A technology services organization in Texas is seeking a Java Full Stack Cloud Developer to join their growing Azure environment in Fort Worth.

About the Opportunity:

Assignment Length: 6 to 12 months
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using modern engineering practices.
Build and support microservices-based solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
Work with Azure services and data pipeline orchestration to support cloud-based solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Support CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and secure deployment practices across the application lifecycle.

Qualifications:

3+ years of related work experience
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
Hands-on experience with Java application development
Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory and data integration or data pipeline orchestration
Experience with microservices, SOA, and full-stack development
Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Desired Skills:

Azure certification, such as AZ-204 or AZ-305
Experience with event-driven or streaming architectures
Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies
Experience with GitHub Actions, Git, GitHub, and CloudSmith
Strong scripting and automation skills with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service
Experience with Dynatrace and Mezmo
Familiarity with cloud-native security best practices
