Java Full stack Developer (Assistant Manager Level Role)
Summary
Full-stack Java developer (assistant manager level) at NCDEX e Markets in Mumbai, building end-to-end web applications: Angular 16+ / TypeScript frontends on Java 8/17/21 Spring Boot microservices, with REST APIs, PostgreSQL/Oracle, Redis, Kafka, and AWS-based CI/CD. 3-8 years experience expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Angular and Java
- Build responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular 16+
- Develop scalable backend services using Java (8/17/21), Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications
- Work on microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams for smooth delivery
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
Required Skills:
Frontend (Angular)
- Strong experience with Angular 16+
- Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with RxJS, Angular CLI, and component-based architecture
- Knowledge of state management (NgRx or similar is a plus)
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Backend (Java)
- Strong experience in Java (8, 17, or 21)
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring MVC
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with REST API development
- Hands on Third Party Integration
- Knowledge of Multithreading, Collections, and Concurrency
Database & Integration
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and SQL optimization
• Experience with Redis/Memcached (in-memory caching)
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or messaging systems
• Experience in third-party API integration, including authentication (OAuth/JWT), data mapping, error handling, and external system communication
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Exposure to web servers like Apache/Nginx
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real-time or high-traffic applications
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
