Java Full Stack Developer

Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer on W2 only
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Duration: 12+ Months Contract with Possible Extension

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and modern frontend technologies such as React or Angular. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance applications supporting business-critical operations.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java full-stack application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

• Proficiency in React or Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.

• Familiarity with Git, build tools, debugging, and application performance tuning.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or other messaging and event-streaming technologies.

• Experience with MuleSoft or comparable enterprise integration platforms.

• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.

• Experience with automated testing, application monitoring, and production support.

• Experience in insurance, financial services, benefits administration, or other enterprise domains.
