Java Fullstack AI Engineer / Developer (LLMs / RAG / MCP/ AWS)

A modern cloud-based company is looking for a Java Fullstack AI Engineer / Developer to join a small, high-impact teamWork on an AI product in a flexible, collaborative environment?
This is an AI product ready to go for market but needs someone to
harden pipelines, improve accuracy and latency, and scale deployments to be used by real customers
What you’ll bring:
• BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years experience commercial Java software application development experience to be able to work with their current tech stack
• Ideally experience in AWS cloud services with things like Cognito
• Strong software foundations (OOP, SOLID principles, testing, CI/CD)
• Hands-on Python for Data/LLM backends and TypeScript / React for front-end web services
• Experience with LLM tooling such as LangChain, embeddings/RAG, prompt engineering & evaluation
• Practical MLOps: environment config, secrets, observability, performance & cost awareness
• Data wrangling at scale: ETL, parsing/normalisation, schema design
• Git/GitHub flow, code reviews and writing clean, maintainable code
• Collaborative team player who iterates quickly from prototype → pilot → production
