Day to day involves building reactive Java 21 / Spring Boot 3 services with WebFlux/Reactor, Elasticsearch, Redis and MongoDB, plus React/GraphQL frontend work and GCP deployment.

JOB Description:
Java 21, Spring Boot 3 & Reactive Programming
- Java 21 (records, sealed classes, virtual threads awareness); Spring Boot 3.
- Spring WebFlux / Project Reactor: Mono & Flux, operators, transformation.
- Reactive fundamentals: backpressure, schedulers, cold vs hot publishers, error handling.
- Non-blocking API design.
Search & Data Layer
- Elasticsearch 8: Query DSL, function_score, relevance tuning (retail catalog search context).
- Reactive data access: Redis and MongoDB reactive drivers.
- Caching strategy; data modeling for search/personalization.
React / GraphQL Frontend, GCP & Testing
- Front-end: React.js and GraphQL client integration (full-stack supporting components).
- GCP (deployment / cloud services; Vertex for AI integrations a plus).
- Testing: JUnit 5, StepVerifier (reactive tests), Mockito.
- Ownership: resolve production incidents end-to-end.
