Moving Walls is an award winning company having received both local and international awards. We are seeking Java Programmers with both web and mobile applications experience to join our technical team at moving walls.

Job Description

A Java Programmer is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and enhancements of applications and services. The Java programmer will work with senior developers and technical leads to design and develop both web-based and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design/build/develop integrated applications, including Web Based and mobile applications
• Develop object oriented, flexible, extensible Java components and scalable.
• Maintain required documentation including Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.
• Provide input in team based solutions, design and problem solving activities.
• Design and develop service oriented architecture solutions, constructing and managing services published to both internal and external consumers, integrating with complex database and third party components.

Qualification and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
2. 2 + years’ experience
3. Strong programming skills and object-oriented design experience.
4. Specialize in core Java programming (Java/J2EE) and C++ (Visual Studio, Eclipse, Net beans)
5. Exposure to Python is an added advantage

1. Database development skills including a solid understanding of database
2. An understanding of designing and implementing web applications with highly optimized and scalable architectures
3. Knowledge on Big data is an added advantage
