About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an individual contributor in a platform-level role. You will be responsible for the implementation and production deployment of cloud-based systems, as well as the maintenance and potential redesign of existing on-premise applications.
What You'll Do
• Translate complex business processes into concrete technical implementations
• Follow and act upon the established deployment pipeline
• Read and interpret design diagrams, and effectively replicate that knowledge to junior engineers
• Review pull requests to ensure adherence to software development best practices
• Write code aligned with SOLID principles, applying appropriate design patterns for each solution
• Design and develop tests across the full software development lifecycle — from unit tests to end-to-end (E2E) tests
• Analyze legacy codebases and lead their transformation into modern, robust solutions.
What You'll Bring
• 5+ years of solid, hands-on coding experience with a primary focus on the Java ecosystem
• Strong command of JDK 17+ — including collections, data structures, conditionals, and multithreading
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience managing database connections and working with both SQL and NoSQL database engines
• Proven experience implementing Design Patterns
• Excellent ability to independently analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and provide technical leadership
• Highly collaborative mindset with a genuine curiosity to learn and explore software in depth
• General understanding of the cloud-based software development lifecycle
• Knowlage about communication.
