Java Software Development Engineer III

As a Java Software Development Engineer III, you will build software features in either the back-end or front-end domain. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be part of the Product and Technology Team, ensuring systematic and efficient development through all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle. Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver well-defined, moderately complex features.
• Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Manage team meetings and RFC processes for proposing changes and improvements.
• Be an initial on-call responder for team-managed software.
• Collaborate with team members, support new junior engineers, and mentor Software Engineers.
• Participate in hiring, prioritise intra-team plans, and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements:

• Expert in Java programming with modern language features and frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with distributed architectures.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular) and JavaScript.
• Proficient in object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle, database management, API integration, and modern tools like Swagger.
• Adept in application monitoring, logging, version control, and software testing.
• Familiar with automation, applications, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and secure coding practices.
• Knowledgeable in Microservices, Event-driven architectures, and Agile Development principles.
