Compensation:

USD 3.5K - 4K/month.

Location:

Remote (specific timezone) - GMT-09:00 to GMT-03:00.

• You are expert in Java 11, and Java 8.
• You are beginner in Jakarta Server Pages and jQuery.
• English - Fully fluent.
• Spanish - Fully fluent.

Responsibilities and more:

We’re hiring a Senior JAVA Software Engineer who will join one of our current projects. We are looking for profiles with extensive proficiency in AWS, immediate availability to start, and commitment to a project lasting 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java 8.
• Deploy and manage applications on Tomcat 9 servers.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries using MySQL 8.
• Utilize AWS services for application deployment, management, and scaling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• +5 years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8.
• Experience with Tomcat 9 for application deployment and management.
• Solid understanding of MySQL 8, including database design and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
