Key Responsibilities
- Lead greenfield development of cloud-based digital platforms used by consumers and enterprise clients
- Architect, design, and code scalable backend systems
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to refine requirements and shape technology roadmaps
- Implement and enhance agile development practices (CI/CD, TDD)
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and frameworks
- Drive innovation in data-driven, dynamic retailing solutions
Required Experience & Skills
- Solid experience in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful services, and MongoDB
- Proven track record in designing and building mission-critical, high-performance web applications
- Technical Lead / Management experience is a plus.
- Travel Industry or Fintech or banking
- Strong delivery mindset focused on building solutions, not just technology
- Experience with systems such as:
- Payment integrations
- Reservation platforms
- Content management systems
- Data collection, storage, and processing frameworks
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and web security principles
- Exposure to performance testing frameworks and tools
- Bachelor's degree (preferably First Class Honors) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
