Java Software Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain a low-latency Java trading platform on the front office desk, collaborating with quants and traders to solve system issues and improve architecture.
A leading fintech are currently building out their Front office engineering team, predominantly using Java, who are responsible for the full development life cycle of their in house built trading platform. You will be on the trading floor alongside the quants and traders, helping solve system issues alongside current project responsibilities.
This opportunity is ideal for developers seeking Front Office exposure and being a part of a fast paced environment. You will have an input on architecture re-design and also expected to help drive best practices throughout the engineering function. Solid fundamentals of data structures and algorithms are a must in order to fit with their systems performance characteristics.
Desired skills
- 2+ years core Java
- Multi-threading and Low-latency experience
- Experience working on financial systems
- Educated to at least Bachelors level in a related field such as computer science or physics
Compensation
- Base salary up to 70,000DKK per month (depending on experience)
- Performance related bonus paid annually
