Java Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Senior Software Developer to join our team at Siroi Solutions in Kuala Lumpur.
Eligibility: Local Malaysians only
This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong in Java backend development and is also comfortable taking ownership, supporting team members, reviewing code, contributing to technical design, and helping the team deliver quality software.
- 4+ years of professional Java development experience
- Java 17 or above
- Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- OOP, Design Patterns & Clean Code
- JPA / Hibernate / JDBC
- SQL & relational databases
- Maven or Gradle
- JUnit / Mockito
- JVM, Multithreading & Concurrency
- Git, Code Reviews & Branching workflows
Added Advantage
Experience with any of the following would be a plus:
- Monitoring & Observability tools
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend solutions
- Perform code reviews and maintain engineering standards
- Contribute to technical design and system architecture discussions
- Identify technical risks and technical debt
- Break down requirements and provide effort estimates
- Mentor and guide junior/mid-level developers
- Coordinate with internal and external technical teams
- Support overall system ownership and production issue resolution
