Java Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to develop, maintain, and support enterprise backend services and APIs. The role involves working across OMS, DFIX, CSM, and GW systems, with a strong focus on application stability, performance, integration, and maintainable service architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java 8.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and reusable service components.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Work across OMS, DFIX, CSM, and GW applications and their integrations.
• Implement business logic, data processing, validation, and service integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform application performance optimization.
• Develop unit tests and support integration and regression testing.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to application stabilization, defect resolution, and integration support.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 and enterprise backend development.
• Solid understanding of Java OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs/services.
• Experience with enterprise application integration and distributed environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with unit testing and API/integration testing.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Maven, and Agile development practices.
• Experience working with application servers such as JBoss is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle databases/SQL is preferred.
• Exposure to OMS, DFIX, CSM, GW, ESB/LWAPI, or similar enterprise systems will be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
