Job Summary

We seek an experienced Java Solution Architect to design scalable, secure enterprise applications and lead cloud migration initiatives in the financial services domain.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions using Java and Microservices architecture to meet business needs
• Define and enforce application architecture, technical standards, and best practices for scalable and secure systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
• Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and governance to ensure alignment with strategic goals
• Drive application modernization and cloud migration initiatives to enhance system performance and agility
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure APIs and distributed systems to support business operations
• Mentor development teams by providing technical guidance throughout project lifecycles
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and performance optimization practices
• Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and enable cloud-native deployments
• Support production issue resolution and participate in architecture governance to maintain system reliability

Required competencies and certifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Java application development
• Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures
• Skilled in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience managing relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Solid understanding of system integration patterns and enterprise architecture principles
• Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Expertise in design patterns, performance tuning, security, and scalability best practices
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in Banking or Financial Services domains
• Knowledge of payment systems, digital banking, treasury, capital markets, or wealth management solutions
• Certifications in TOGAF, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Oracle considered advantageous
• Familiarity with OpenShift and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
