Java Technical Lead - Microservices Architecture

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the technical design and development of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Develop scalable backend components and REST APIs.

- Work extensively with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.

- Develop and maintain frontend components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Design and implement system integrations and API-based solutions.

- Leverage AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services for application development and deployment.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, debug applications, and optimise system performance.

- Provide production support and drive root-cause analysis and resolution.

- Mentor developers, guide technical implementation, and support team delivery.

- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Required Candidate Profile :

- 8-10 years of experience in Java development and enterprise application engineering.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Good experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and system integration.

- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience in technical solution design, code reviews, and team mentoring.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, production support, and performance optimisation skills.

- Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership responsibilities.
