Java Technical Lead (React)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and support a team of Java/React developers.
  2. Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code based on business and technical requirements.
  3. Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards, quality, and security best practices.
  4. Drive Sprint/ PI planning, estimation, solution reviews and technical discussions.
  5. Ensure code is aligned with defined architecture and technology standards
  6. Support CI/CD implementation, test automation, security and performance initiatives.
  7. Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability.
  8. Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.

Must-have skills

  1. Java: Java 8/11/17, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, Java
  2. Frontend: ReactJS, JavaScript, React Core Concepts.
  3. Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Karate, Cucumber, Jest, React Testing Library.
  4. Database: MongoDB/Oracle with strong PL/SQL skills.
  5. Tools: GitHub, Git Commands, IntelliJ IDEA, SonarQube, Checkmarx.
  6. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and Multi-threaded Programming.
  7. Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
  8. Strong knowledge of REST API development and microservices architecture.
  9. Proven experience in leading globally distributed teams.
  10. Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Preferred: Microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps exposure.

Computer Science foundation in a software engineering role & good knowledge of OOAD, scalability issues and multi-tiered solutions.
