JavaScript Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing, enhancing and maintaining modern web applications.
  
• Writing clean, scalable and efficient code.
  
• Integrating front-end applications with RESTful services and back-end systems.
  
• Identifying, debugging and resolving application issues.
  
• Participating in the full development lifecycle, from design through to deployment.
  
• Collaborating with other developers, sharing knowledge and contributing ideas.
  
• Keeping up with the latest technologies and development practices.
  

• At least 4 years of professional JavaScript development experience.
  
• Solid experience with one or more modern frameworks:
  
• React
  
• Angular
  
• Vue
  
• Svelte
  
• Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills.
  
• Experience integrating with RESTful web services.
  
• Exposure to back-end technologies such as Node.js, Java, .NET, Go or Java EE.
  
• Experience with NPM or Yarn.
  
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Jest.
  
• Exposure to mocking tools such as WireMock.
  
• Experience with Git, Jira and browser debugging tools.
  
• An understanding of web servers such as Nginx or Apache.
  
• The ability to read and identify issues within back-end code.
  
• A good understanding of the application development and deployment lifecycle.
  

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Full-stack development experience.
  
• Docker and Kubernetes exposure.
  
• AWS experience or certification.
  
• DevOps knowledge and experience.
  
• Automation testing experience with Cypress, Protractor or Selenium.
  
• Experience with Webpack, SCSS or SASS.
  
• Monorepo tooling experience, particularly Nx or Lerna.
