We are the Carolinas’ premier provider of quality ready-mix concrete and related services. Founded in 1958 through the merger of three companies, CSC now operates 15 plants in Raleigh and over 90 facilities across North and South Carolina.
Program Description:
This 4-week, Monday–Friday, 7:00a–5:00p program helps participants obtain a CDL-B license through our partnership with Johnston Community College. Qualified applicants who meet CSC hiring criteria receive comprehensive training, CDL certification, and a path to a professional delivery career.
Benefits:
Orientation: March 19, 2026, 10:30a | Class B002: Mar 30–Apr 24, 2026
Orientation: May 21, 2026, 10:30a | Class B003: Jun 1–26, 2026
Orientation includes: submitting NC License, CDL-B Permit, DOT Medical Card (can also email jcctdtinfo@johnstoncc.edu); taking the TABE test (passing required); and DOT drug screening.
This is an unpaid CDL Training Program until hired.

Requirements
To be considered for the NC Truck Driver Training School, you must:- Be at least 21
- A US citizen or Permanent Resident
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Have a current NC Driver License and Class B Commercial Learner Permit
- Hold a current DOT Medical Card
