JD EDWARDS FINANCIAL ANALYST / SME – REMOTE MEXICO

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Financial Analyst / SME to serve as the primary liaison between Finance and IT, supporting and optimizing Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial applications.

The ideal candidate will combine strong JD Edwards Financials expertise, accounting knowledge, advanced SQL, ERP support, financial reporting, and business systems analysis skills while supporting critical financial close activities and enterprise technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial applications.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, ERP support, business systems analysis, or related roles.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and ERP projects.
• Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Financial Consolidation, Internal Controls, Audit Compliance, and SOX Controls.
• Advanced SQL development and troubleshooting experience.
• Financial reporting and data analysis experience.
• ERP integrations and interface support experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation abilities.

Nice to Have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar certification.
• Power BI experience.
• Experience with OneStream, Essbase, BlackLine, or Coupa.
• Financial data warehousing experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• JD Edwards Financial implementation experience.
• Experience supporting global Finance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional expert for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
• Provide day-to-day functional support to Finance users and troubleshoot application, data, process, and integration issues.
• Lead or support ERP projects, upgrades, integrations, acquisitions, and enhancement initiatives.
• Gather business requirements, develop functional documentation, and coordinate UAT and testing activities.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
• Investigate posting issues, reconciliation discrepancies, and accounting variances.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, data extracts, and SQL queries for reconciliation, audit support, and financial analysis.
• Validate financial data integrity across systems and databases.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Support SOX compliance, audit requests, internal controls, and financial governance.
• Create training materials, knowledge articles, and system documentation.
