Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Corporate Task Force Food & Beverage Manager” for our corporate office in Lakewood. The Task Force Food and Beverage Manager is a senior operational specialist deployed across properties to stabilize operations, fill leadership gaps, execute strategic initiatives, and ensure consistent compliance with corporate standards. This role must be capable of assuming the responsibilities of senior property-level positions including Director of Food and Beverage, Outlet General Manager, Beverage Manager, or other leadership roles on a temporary basis.
Assignments may include crisis stabilization, leadership vacancies, pre-opening support, operational turnarounds, major events, or performance improvement initiatives. The Task Force Food and Beverage Manager operates with delegated authority from corporate leadership and serves as the on-site representative of corporate standards.
When not deployed, the position supports corporate projects, audits, training development, and operational improvement initiatives.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assume temporary leadership of food and beverage operations during vacancies, leaves, or transitions
- Stabilize service quality, staffing, morale, and operational consistency
- Establish clear priorities and execute rapid improvement plans
- Provide hands-on leadership across FOH and BOH as required
- Ensure continuity of operations during high-volume or critical periods
- Assess operational performance, identify root causes of deficiencies, and implement corrective strategies
- Improve guest satisfaction, financial results, compliance performance, and team effectiveness.
- Reinforce corporate standards, policies, and service expectations
- Monitor progress and provide structured reporting to corporate leadership
- Manage departmental financial performance during assignments, including labor control, cost of goods, and revenue optimization
- Review budgets, forecasts, and P&L drivers to identify risks and opportunities
- Implement cost-control measures without compromising guest experience
- Support inventory accuracy and purchasing discipline
- Ensure full compliance with health regulations, alcohol laws, gaming requirements, and company policies
- Maintain inspection readiness at all times
- Lead responses to regulatory inspections or incidents when deployed
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Mitigate operational, legal, and reputational risks
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training when necessary
- Reinforce accountability and professional standards
- Assist in succession planning and leadership development
- Support new outlet openings, renovations, concept launches, and major initiatives
- Coordinate training programs and operational readiness activities
- Assist with menu rollouts, systems implementation, and process development
- Ensure alignment with brand standards and corporate expectations
- Maintain clear communication with property leadership and corporate stakeholders
- Provide regular status reports on performance, risks, and progress
- Document key actions, findings, and recommendations
- Serve as a liaison between corporate strategy and property execution
- Assist with audits, operational reviews, and best-practice development
- Contribute to policy creation, training materials, and standardization initiatives
- Support enterprise projects as directed by corporate leadership
- Rapid stabilization of assigned operations

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years Equivalent Work Experience
- Must have upscale, buffet, bar, and restaurant management experience
- Multi-outlet experience preferable
- Must be 21 years of age
- Senior-level food and beverage leadership experience in multi-outlet environments
- Demonstrated success in turnaround or high-pressure situations
- Strong financial, operational, and strategic skills
- Ability to lead large teams and influence without formal authority
- Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities
- Must have prior cash handling experience
