機構設計工程師 (Power PSU/BBU/CBU/PSC) Sr. ME Engineer

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our continued growth, we are looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer based at our Taiwan Taipei Wugu site.
This role will be responsible for mechanical design of power products for Tier-1 customer projects, including power supply units (PSU), battery backup units (BBU), energy storage systems (ESS), and power control units (PCU).

What a typical day looks like:
1. Lead mechanical design activities for power products, including PSU, BBU, PCU, and related shelves for data center applications.
2. Develop 3D models and engineering drawings for metal and plastic enclosures, PCBA assemblies, and mechanical components using Creo / Pro-E.
3. Independently complete mechanical engineering tasks, including mechanical architecture design, engineering BOM creation, specification drawings, technical documentation, packaging designs, and related deliverables.
4. Perform in-depth analysis and root cause investigations for mechanical issues, including tolerance stack-up analysis and review of mechanical, thermal, and reliability test results.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as electrical, thermal, manufacturing, quality, and program management to deliver optimized mechanical solutions that meet customer and project requirements.
6. Assist in basic assembly activities during prototype, engineering build, or pilot build stages when required.
7. Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to review and resolve DFM-related issues early in the design phase to ensure manufacturability and product robustness.

• 執行機構問題分析與 Root Cause Investigation，包括公差分析及機構、散熱、可靠度測試結果評估。
• 與電子、熱流、製造、品質及專案管理等跨部門團隊合作，提供符合客戶需求的機構設計方案。
• 於產品打樣、工程試產及試量產階段，依需求協助產品組裝與驗證作業。
• 與製造團隊及供應商合作，進行 DFM評估與改善，確保產品可製造性及設計品質。

The experience we're looking to add to our team:
1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related engineering field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design for power products, such as PSU, BBU, PCU, or related electronic systems.
3. Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, plastic parts, fasteners, and structural components.
4. Familiar with packaging materials and processes, including corrugated boxes, foam solutions, pallets, labels, and printing requirements.
5. Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drawing tools; experience with Creo is strongly preferred.
Ability to create complete engineering drawings and assembly layouts.
6. Good English communication skills for effective collaboration with global cross-functional teams and suppliers.
7. Ability to create engineering BOMs, mechanical specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to support product development and manufacturing.
8. Hands-on capability to use basic machine tools or hand tools for part modification, rework, or debugging during prototype and engineering stages.
9. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze mechanical, thermal, and reliability test results and drive corrective actions.
10. Familiarity with ISTA package, or other packaging-related regulatory requirements is a plus.

機械工程、工業設計或相關工程科系學士以上學歷。
5年以上電源產品機構設計經驗，具 PSU、BBU、PCU 或相關電子產品開發經驗。
熟悉機構設計原理、材料特性及製造工藝，包括鈑金件、塑膠件、緊固件及結構件設計。
熟悉包裝材料及相關製程，包括瓦楞紙箱、泡棉、防護包材、棧板、標籤及印刷規範。
熟悉 3D 建模及 2D 工程圖設計工具，具 Creo 使用經驗者尤佳。
具備完整工程圖面及組裝圖（Assembly Layout）製作能力。
具良好的英文溝通能力，能與跨國團隊及供應商合作。
具備工程 BOM、機構規格書、工程圖面及技術文件撰寫能力。
能操作基本機械加工設備或手工具，於產品開發及工程驗證階段進行零件修改、重工及除錯。
具良好的問題分析與解決能力，能針對機構、散熱及可靠度測試結果進行分析並推動改善措施。

加分條件:
熟悉 ISTA 包裝測試規範或其他相關包裝法規要求者尤佳。
