解决方案工程师 Solutions Engineer

Primarily provides pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.

Job Description 主要工作職責

1. Support for PIC Characterization: Assist customers in testing Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) at the wafer or die level支援PIC 特性分析，協助客戶測試光子積體電路 (PIC)
2. Ecosystem Collaboration: Work with probe station partners and laser source integration for SiPh testing workflows與合作夥伴協作，並進行雷射光源整合，以建立及優化SiPh測試流程
3. Cover all Fiber Optics labs product of VIAVI portfolio; OSA, Fiber Inspection Tools, power meter & laser source, IL/RL tester, Optical Amplifiers, Optical switches, swept wavelength systems, component analyzers, Tunable filters, Polarization controllers, Broadband sources C&L band etc負責 VIAVI 完整光纖實驗室產品組合，涵蓋光譜分析儀、光纖檢測工具、光功率計與雷射光源、插入損耗／回波損耗測試儀、光纖放大器、光開關、掃描波長系統、元件分析儀、可調式濾波器、偏振控制器，以及 C／L 波段寬頻光源等產品
4. To work closely with customers R&D, NPI and manufacturing to provide optical testing solutions與客戶研發、新產品導入及製造團隊密切合作，了解客戶需求並提供適合的光學測試解決方案
5. Develop a good understanding of customer requirements and provide appropriate technical recommendations深入了解客戶實際需求，提出適合的解決方案
6. Support product/solution demos and on-site trials, coordinating with Sales and Division协助產品/解決方案展示及客戶現場測試，並與業務團隊及事業部密切協調合作
7. Support customers in setting up and starting their testing activities using VIAVI products协助提供產品使用培訓，並協助客戶啟動及進行初期測試
8. Prepare and maintain customer-specific test procedures, application notes and other technical documentation with guidance from senior team members协助制定、更新及維護客戶專屬測試流程、應用說明及相關技術文件
9. Assist with customer training and product/application education协助为客户提供产品应用相關培訓
10. Support product and technology presentations at customer meetings, road shows and seminars as required支援客戶會議、產品巡迴展示（Roadshow）及研討會，並進行產品與技術簡報
11. Share customer feedback and application requirements with the Sales and Division teams與業務及事業部團隊分享客戶回饋與應用需求
12. Work closely with Sales, TAC, Division and other internal technical teams to support customer requirements與業務、TAC、事業部及其他內部技術團隊密切協作，提供技術支援並滿足客戶需求

Qualifications 应聘资格

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communications, Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline具備電子工程、電機工程、通訊工程、儀器工程或相關科系學士學位
2. 1–3 years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Test & Measurement, Optical Communications, or a related technical role1–3 年現場應用工程、測試與量測、光纖通訊或相關技術職務經驗
3. Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge, internship experience or strong interest in fiber optics and test & measurement may also be considered具備相關技術知識、實習經驗，或對光纖通訊及測試與量測技術有高度興趣之應屆畢業生
4. Basic understanding of fiber optic and optical communication technologies具備光纖及光通訊技術的基本認識
5. Basic knowledge of optical components and technologies such as lasers, photodetectors, amplifiers, switches, filters, polarization and optical spectrum measurement具備光學元件及相關技術的基本知識，例如雷射、光偵測器、光放大器、光開關、濾波器、偏振技術及光譜量測
6. Basic understanding of optical communication technologies such as DWDM, Ethernet/IP and OTN is an advantage 具備光通訊技術的基本概念，熟悉 DWDM、Ethernet/IP 及 OTN 者佳
7. Basic understanding of high-speed optical communications and transceiver technologies is an advantage具備高速光通訊及光收發模組（Transceiver）技術的基本認識者佳
8. Basic programming or test automation knowledge, particularly Python and/or SCPI, is preferred具備基本的程式設計或測試自動化能力，熟悉 Python 及／或 SCPI 者佳
9. Experience with laboratory test equipment or test and measurement systems is an advantage具備實驗室測試設備或測試與量測系統相關經驗者佳
10. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills具備良好的問題排除及分析能力
11. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and products quickly快速學習新技術及產品的意願
12. Willingness to travel to customer sites when required配合工作需求出差至客戶現場提供技術支援
