Mid-level SDET (remote in Brazil) at CI&T who bridges development and QA by designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks and executing automated/manual test plans within agile teams. Core stack includes Java/C#/JavaScript, Selenium/Cypress, API testing (Postman/RestAssured), and CI/CD practices.

As an SDET, you will play a critical role in designing and executing robust automated and manual testing strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between development and testing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure quality is embedded from the early stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios across multiple applications and platforms.
- Collaborate within agile teams to define and evolve test strategies, standards, and QA best practices.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Analyze test results and quality trends, proposing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support the leadership team in Quality Analysis across the Value Stream.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-have Skills:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or SDET.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java, C#, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit).
- Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman or RestAssured).
- Experience with Device Farms
- CI/CD practices
- Advanced or fluent English communication skills.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
