Description
The Data Engineer Graduate Intern will focus on managing and optimizing PPS’s data and data pipeline architecture. This role involves enhancing data flow and collection processes for cross-functional teams, creating automated solutions such as dashboards to deliver insights on customer management, operational efficiency, and other critical performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the Analytics Data Warehouse and Data Pipeline environments
- Engage with stakeholders to manage and meet expectations in data practices and governance
- Research and recommend improvements to enhance business processes and data methodologies
- Collaborate with IT and Business teams to design and implement data strategies, maintaining data architecture to support organizational initiatives
- Source and load diverse datasets into the data lake to support analytics and development
- Assemble large, complex data sets aligned with business requirements
- Develop tools for analytics and data science teams to enhance product innovation and industry leadership
Qualifications
- B
- Sc
- in IT (Data Engineering) or a similar field
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
- Understanding of information lifecycle management, data modeling, master data management, and conducting business audits
- Familiarity with financial services and professional client markets
- Strong grasp of data governance practices, including data quality, accessibility, ownership, and security
