Summary
Hands-on Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer in Madrid (hybrid, 2-3 days onsite weekly) on a 6-month rolling extendable contract: installing and decommissioning servers and racks, cabling/patching and connectivity troubleshooting, hardware maintenance and component replacement, plus capacity and life cycle management using DCIM tools such as Sunbird dcTrack or Device42.
Location: Madrid, Spain
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 to 3 Days Onsite per Week
Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract - Extendable
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in physical data centre infrastructure, hardware operations and infrastructure life cycle management.
Key Requirements:
Server and rack installation, decommissioning and hardware maintenance.
Copper and fibre cabling, patching and connectivity troubleshooting.
Physical server hardware troubleshooting and component replacement.
Vendor and contractor coordination.
Experience with DCIM tools such as Sunbird dcTrack or Device42.
Rack space, power and port capacity management.
Data centre infrastructure life cycle management.
