Job Placement Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
The Job Placement Specialist is responsible for the provision and documentation of services in accordance with all guidelines from the Department of Human Services, and includes training of direct service staff in accordance with DHS guidelines. The Job Placement Specialist is responsible for developing placement sites for people with disabilities at community businesses and industries. These sites may be for the purposes of competitive and supported employment, on the job evaluation or training. Some limited job coaching with follow up services may be required on an as-needed basis. Duties also include assisting individuals in attaining job development goals.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Responsible for developing placement sites at community businesses.
• Assist clients with resumes, interview skills, making contacts, filling out applications and attending interviews.
• Preparing IP's, addendums and status reviews.
• Facilitating staffings and setting up appointments.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses/employers in the community.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
