The team covers AI deep learning, ASIC, FPGA, analog, mixed signal, RF, PCB, embedded systems, and software with turnkey and prototyping services.

Job Summary

Support foundry customers by assisting with PDK installation, running DRC/LVS checks, preparing tapeout data, and tracking tapeout progress to ensure accurate and timely chip design delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support throughout the customer tapeout process to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution
  • Assist with installation and setup of Process Design Kits (PDKs) to enable design environment readiness
  • Run Calibre Design Rule Check (DRC) and Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) verification to identify layout errors and compile detailed error reports
  • Perform GDSII file merging and verify pre-tapeout checklists to confirm design readiness for fabrication
  • Log support tickets and monitor tapeout status to track progress and escalate issues as needed

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering or related field (as stated: "Diploma in Electronics Engineering or related field")

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Basic understanding of IC layout components such as transistors, metal layers, and vias
  • Familiarity with Linux command line usage
  • Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso through internship or coursework
  • Awareness of Calibre or similar verification tools
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures precisely
  • Willingness to learn on-the-job tapeout flows, DRC decks, and layout viewing tools
