Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday

Location: London client site - Required in the London office for training week, and then 3-4 days per week following this


Role overview

This role is a key member of the Financial Reporting team. The role is a key finance business partner and is responsible for delivering balance sheet reconciliations, financial reports and relevant information to internal finance stakeholders. It also involves a range of transformation activities, such as creating standard reports, automating reports from accounting systems, and documenting processes of reporting to internal finance stakeholders. The role will hold relationships with finance teams of JV partners and will involve cross-team working to progress automation initiatives to drive simplification, control and efficiencies and would suit someone who has the ability and ambition to drive change through automation whilst continuously looking for further improvements.


Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting Balance Sheet Reconciliation as part of a team working to tight end of year deadlines
  • Lead preparation of accurate JV financial reports for management and partners
  • Own JV period-end reporting and resolve reporting discrepancies
  • Coordinate and review financial information from multiple finance teams
  • Drive automation and standardisation of financial reporting
  • Design, document, and maintain reporting processes
  • Implement and maintain controls over JV reporting
  • Ensure compliance with contractual JV reporting requirements
  • Support change initiatives and ad-hoc finance projects

Experience & skills:

  • Qualified Chartered / Management Accountant (or equivalent)
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations across a variety of applications
  • Strong post-qualification experience in financial / management reporting
  • Proven ability to design and implement financial controls
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Background in listed PLC or listed-client environments (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in excel, experience with automation, process improvement, and ERP systems (preferred)
  • Property sector experience (preferred)
