Job description

DUTIES:

Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, rebuilds, constructs, and maintains woodwork and other related structures.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Familiar with a variety of carpentry concepts, practices, and procedures within the carpentry field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Familiar with tools, materials and supplies required to complete tasks.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Directs and leads the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Requires standard communication skills (written/verbal/reading).
Requires all hand-held tools and most power tools.
Able to lift and hold / move 100 pounds.
Must be able to solve advanced math principals to produce sufficient problem solving for carpentry.
Able to traverse ladders (up and down including extension ladder), scaffolding and roofs.
Must be able to read plans and specs.
