Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview

1Click Heating and Cooling Inc isseekingan experiencedJourneyman Electriciantoperformelectrical work, ensure code compliance, and support the operations of our team in Vancouver, British Columbia.The successful candidate willbe responsible for supporting the installation,maintenance and repair of heat-pump based electrical systemsin accordance withfederal and provincial electrical code.

Key Responsibilities

• Assistin installation of electrical heat pumps and HVAC equipment by ensuring all electrical workcomplies withfederal and provincial electrical code.

• Providetechnical guidance, supervision, and mentoring to electricians and apprentices

• Perform electrical inspections and preventative maintenance

• Review and approve electrical permits, inspections, and documentation

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and support complex project work

• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to support job planning and execution

• Maintainaccuratejob records, reports, and compliance documentation

• Participate in estimating, quoting, and planning electrical projects

Required Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician preferred

• Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)

• Valid FSR Certificate preferred

• Valid BC Driver’sLicencewith a clean driving record
