Job Summary for Electrician

Our Electrical company is growing quickly, and we're hiring! We are currently in need of experienced Electricians to join our team.

We primarily do residential and commercial projects as well as service and repair work. We also do some new construction. We are looking for Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers. You must be able to work with the public, troubleshoot and find problems, do your work neatly and correctly, and insure the customer is ALWAYS happy when you complete any project.

Responsibilities and Duties for Electrician

- Must have the ability to install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.

- Remain in compliance with current National Electrical Code.

- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.

- Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.

-Must be good at working with people, both fellow employees as well as customers.

-Must be willing to learn and operate our scheduling and invoicing software. This requires basic knowledge in operating smart phones or iPads.

-Must have problem solving skills. Must perform extremely neat work that meets our quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

-We prefer 2 years electrical experience.

- Able to work well on a team.

- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.

- Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Job Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code
• Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
• Communicate any issues to clients, and discuss payment options and scheduling
• Record all payments and costs for company databases
• Other duties as requested
