Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Jr. Financial and Banking Analyst (Jr. Cession Analyst) to join our financial reporting team. In this role, you will receive training and support to develop your skills in assisting with the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial reports. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning their finance or accounting careers who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic work environment.

Job Objective:

To learn and support the financial reporting process by assisting in the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, while developing a foundational understanding of financial analysis, reporting standards, and internal processes.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Perform high-volume reconciliations of bank statements and financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly financial reporting for a portfolio of approximately 2,000 entities.
  • Analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies and variances, and support the integrity of financial reporting across multiple accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues and support timely financial reporting deliverables.
  • Utilize financial systems and reporting tools to manage large volumes of data and maintain accurate financial records.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Demonstrate experience performing high-volume bank reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Have experience with PDF management software; familiarity with Nuance PDF is preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the completion of 2,000+ monthly & quarterly financial reports in which Sales Agents review with Car Dealers in-order-to ensure profit.
  • Communicate and work very closely with a team on daily tasks in preparation for the completion of the financial reports.
  • Responsible for analyzing reporting for accuracy.
  • Communicate directly with Sales Agents for any scheduling, reporting questions and misc. requests.
  • Reconciling and tracking of bank statements on-a-monthly basis.
  • Fulfilling information requests from Accountants for anything needed to complete Tax Estimates.
  • Fast paced work environment with timing goals and deadlines.
  • Some filing and collating.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of work experience in an office environment.
  • Prior customer service and clerk experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • 65 WPM + Strong 10-Key.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail, follow through and ability to multi-task.
  • Accounting experience
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Vision acuity required to include close vision, color vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to grasp objects such a telephone or computer mouse, finger dexterity to use a keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to hear and talk, both in person and by phone.
  • Ability to spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
