Jr. NodeJS Backend Engineer (1-3 years experience)
Summary
Builds and deploys Node.js backend services for SaaS and consumer apps using PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud tools like GCP/AWS.
Location
DHA Phase II, Islamabad (Onsite)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and ship large projects for large‑scale SaaS and consumer applications
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Able to setup and manage Dev Ops
- Lead cross‑functional projects, like frontend, backend, system design and Dev Ops.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience.
- Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS and ExpressJS.
- Experience with at least one of the following: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Mongo, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD via Github actions or IAC (Infrastructure As Code) etc.
- Worked with GCP, AWS, microservices, SOA.
- Worked on deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless
- Strong understanding of Systems Design.
- Help other engineers get onboarded onto projects.
