As a Junior Windows Administrator you will be working in a business process services and solutions company, which has recently opened its state-of-the-art Command Center for IT Operations in Sandy, Utah. The new facility provides proactive, real-time monitoring of applications and service performance 24 hours a day, and 365 days a year. Conduent provides mission-critical services and solutions, such as claims processing, customer support, benefits administration and payment solutions, that millions of consumers, patients, commuters and workplace professionals rely on each day.

Position is 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:30am) and the nights will be Sunday thru Thursday

We need someone who can:

Handle the responsibilities of troubleshooting, implementing, and administering all server components and systems. This individual will need to understand multiple server environments and complex domain environments. Our organization includes support for current Microsoft technologies as well as older Microsoft server technologies.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Windows Server 2008 and above support
• Minimum 1 year of support for Windows server environments
• Experience with VMWare virtualization
• General understanding of VM management best practices
• OS troubleshooting. Disk issues, CPU and Memory overutilization, network issues, etc.
• Respond to automated alerts regarding system faults
• Document work performed in enterprise ticketing system (ServiceNow)
• Engage in priority tickets for initial triage and troubleshooting
• Positive attitude toward learning new technologies
• Must be able to pass a drug test and federal background check

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

• VMWare certifications
• Microsoft certifications (MCITP): any product
• Microsoft Azure certifications
• Documentation and communication skills
• Works well with a team and external resources
