Junior Accountant/Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented, well-organized professional who is able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Junior Accountant in Iyuno Taiwan, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with tax regulations, cash flow management, reporting, and audit support under guidance and supervision of senior supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including but not limited to A/R, A/P, GL, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing procedures and documents.
• Verify receipts, invoices, and bookkeeping records.
• Review payments, employee claims, and petty cash for policy and tax compliance.
• Process online banking transactions and coordinate with banks.
• Prepare financial data and supporting reports to facilitate cash flow forecasting.
• Record accounting transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist in intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper and accurate VAT and withholding tax recording.
• Prepare data and report for financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform ad hoc finance and accounting duties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in assisting bookkeeping and AP/AR tasks, with fair knowledge of VAT and WHT Regulations
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good at MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Table and Lookup functions)
• Experience in accounting ERP system (Microsoft NAV (Business Central) is preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated and with a can-do attitude
• Proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-minded with high level of accuracy
• Multi-tasking, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Immediately available is highly preferred
