Junior AI Engineer (Assurance/ 1 year contract)

The Role:

• Develop and enhance AI-powered applications, automation solutions, and digital tools to support business processes and operational objectives.
• Design, build, test, and maintain full-stack applications, including both frontend and backend components using modern development frameworks.
• Integrate AI technologies, APIs, databases, and automation workflows to improve productivity and user experience.
• Implement and optimize solutions involving large language models (LLMs), intelligent document processing, retrieval systems, and AI-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide regular project updates.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct testing, and support deployment activities to ensure application stability and performance.
• Evaluate system effectiveness, analyse user feedback, and continuously improve existing tools and processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, development records, and implementation guidelines.
• Participate in project planning, task tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices to drive innovation.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering, AI development, full-stack development, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications, automation solutions, digital products, or internal business tools.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, including prompt engineering, LLM integrations, retrieval-based systems, and intelligent automation.
• Proficiency in full-stack development technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with APIs, databases, version control tools, and cloud-based deployment environments.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, debugging, documentation, and code maintenance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and keen to learn emerging technologies within a fast-paced environment.
