Opportunity Overview

As a Junior Fullstack Engineer, you will help build a reusable scoring and recommendations platform on GCP used across several client products. You’ll work on both embeddable frontend widgets and cloud-native backend services, under the guidance of a senior developer.

Expect a hands-on role where you’ll grow quickly across the full stack and modern cloud. You’ll join a team of passionate engineers who value technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Building reusable, embeddable UI widgets in React based on an existing Design System and provided designs.

• Developing cloud-native backend services in Python or Java on GCP.

• Contributing to replatforming an existing backend into a modern, multi-consumer cloud service.

• Designing and integrating APIs between frontend components and backend services.

• Writing clean, tested, and well-documented code and participating in code reviews.

• Communicating progress, questions, and technical decisions clearly with the team and the client.

• Growing your skills through close collaboration with and mentoring from a senior developer.

What We’re Looking For

• Initial commercial experience as a fullstack or software developer - must-have.

• Knowledge of React and modern frontend development, including building reusable components.

• Knowledge of Python or Java for backend development.

• Familiarity with GCP or another cloud platform (Azure, AWS).

• Understanding of REST APIs and basic software engineering principles.

• Self-reliance: the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and look for solutions on your own.

• Good communication skills and fluent English, enabling effective collaboration with the team and the client.

• Eagerness to learn, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Interest in or experience with agentic AI, AI agents, or LLM-based solutions.

• Experience working with Design Systems or component libraries.

• Familiarity with TypeScript.

• Basic knowledge of Docker, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Vitest, pytest, JUnit).
