About the Role

Our client is looking for Junior AI Software Engineers to join their growing engineering team and build AI-powered products and applications. This is an ideal opportunity for software engineers with 2-4 years' experience who have started working with Generative AI, LLMs or AI applications and want to develop their career further in AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain AI-powered applications, APIs and services.
  • Develop scalable backend and full-stack software.
  • Integrate LLMs, AI APIs and third-party services.
  • Contribute to RAG, AI agents and agentic workflows.
  • Work with cloud technologies, primarily Azure.
  • Use modern engineering practices including Docker, Git, testing and CI/CD.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, AI specialists and product teams.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years' commercial software engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
  • Experience with APIs, backend development and modern software engineering practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, Docker and CI/CD.
  • Genuine interest in Generative AI and AI application development.

Desirable

  • Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Microsoft Agent Framework or Semantic Kernel.
  • RAG, LLM or AI agent development.
  • React / TypeScript.
  • Kubernetes.
  • Azure AI services.

The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with some hands-on AI exposure who wants to build a career in AI engineering.
