Junior Analyst / Associate, Business Management

SGX FX is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst / Associate to join the Business Management team. This role will support the daily operational, business management, and regulatory activities of the SGX FX business.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives, operational processes, internal controls, market research, and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform market, industry, and competitor research to support business growth plans and initiatives.
  • Assist in gathering business intelligence and compiling insights to enhance the SGX FX value proposition.
  • Support operational workflows, including regulatory reporting and periodic parent group reporting.
  • Assist with internal controls, compliance coordination, risk mitigation, and operational readiness activities.
  • Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support operational continuity and efficiency.
  • Support cost tracking, budget discipline, and procurement management processes.
  • Maintain documentation of internal policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Support regulatory, licensing, and business expansion projects.
  • Coordinate across business units and assist in broader business management projects and ad-hoc activities as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest or internship experience in financial markets and products are welcome to apply.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly meticulous, organized, and able to manage operational matters with accuracy.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Comfortable coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, responsible, and able to work independently and in a team.
