Summary:
The Junior Android Developer role focuses on enhancing Android application development, ensuring quality assurance, and managing CI/CD processes for HMI applications on various platforms, ultimately supporting continuous operations and product delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
Participate in daily meetings and technical alignments.
Conduct reviews and planning sessions collaboratively.
Communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies effectively.
Independently manage assigned work packages.
Escalate critical issues to designated contacts early.
Ensure quality assurance and ongoing development of software products.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience with Jira.
Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket.
Hands-on experience with Android projects and tooling (ADB, ADB shell, scrcpy).
Experience with Jenkins.
Understanding of Agile development processes.
Skills in root cause analysis and ticket handling.
Good spoken and written English communication skills.
Self-directed work ethic and accountability.
Ability to work within international development teams.
Nice to Have:
Hands-on experience with Kotlin.
Basic knowledge of Jetpack Compose and View XML.
Experience with Android Lifecycle components.
Basic knowledge of Kotlin Flows.
Experience with Android Studio.
Experience in unit testing.
Willingness to learn existing SDK architectures and development processes.
