Junior Application Developer

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Application Developer to join our team. This is a Remote opportunity.

The selected candidate will assist in designing and maintaining applications to support a large logistics sustainment program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with MANTECHs logistics and property management system LogMASTRE.

• Will focus on troubleshooting current system issues, system improvements, and integration with ERP systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and relevant technical experience as an Application Developer, Software Engineer, or similar technical role (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

• Experience developing microservices applications using Python, Typescript or similar languages.

• Experience developing and troubleshooting web applications as a full-stack developer.

• Experience with relational database systems, e.g. (SQL Server, Postgresql).

• Experience with CI/CD tools e.g. (GitLab, Jenkins).

• Experience with a major cloud provider.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GCP cloud technologies (Compute, Google Kubernetes Engine, CloudSQL).

• Experience developing secure software systems based upon industry specifications.

• Experience writing software requirements, design, and test documentation.

• Familiarity with industry-standard logistics and government property concepts.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel. Additionally, must be able to push, pull, and reach.

• Must be able to work in high noise areas.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.

• Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
