JUNIOR ASSOCIATE - FINANCE (Taxation)

Job Description

  • Prepare schedules and ensure timely uploads to the RAMIS portal.
  • Prepare and assist in the filing of tax returns.
  • Ensure the timely collection of supplier and customer tax invoices.
  • Maintain accurate filing and archiving of all tax invoices to facilitate Internal Revenue Department (IRD) audits and internal reviews.
  • Ensure proper 5S practices are followed in maintaining all tax-related documents.
  • Manage the VAT refund process.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable direct and indirect tax regulations.
  • Prepare tax computations and statutory reports.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory changes relating to tax processes.
  • Handle Hayleys Advantis tax clearance processes for all overseas payments.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Currently pursuing or part-qualified in CIMA, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a finance-related role. Exposure to taxation will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be a distinct advantage.
